ABOUT ME

Beckwith is home.

For 23 years, my family and I have called Beckwith Township home. It is where we raised our family, built our lives and became part of the community.

Why I decided to run

I am running for Reeve because residents deserve a choice and a stronger voice, and because I believe I can bring a fresh perspective to the Council table.

Over the years, I have watched Beckwith grow and change. I believe we are at an important point where thoughtful leadership, responsible planning and meaningful public engagement will matter more than ever.

I do not believe a campaign should be about telling residents what all of their priorities are. I want to meet people, listen to what they are experiencing and understand what they believe the Township could be doing better.

MUNICIPAL EXPERIENCE

Experience that understands how local government works

I spent 24 years working in municipal government. That experience gave me a strong understanding of Council and committee processes, municipal administration, public service, accountability and the important distinction between the role of elected Council and the role of municipal staff.

I have seen first-hand how much strong communication, careful preparation, transparency and respectful working relationships matter when decisions affect residents and taxpayers.

As Reeve, I would bring that experience to the Council table while remembering that elected leadership starts with the people we serve.

HOW I SEE LEADERSHIP

Visible. Approachable. Accountable.

I believe leadership is about earning trust through actions. Residents should be able to reach their Reeve, understand how decisions are being made and know that their concerns are being taken seriously.

We will not always agree on every issue. Good local government means listening respectfully, asking the important questions, considering the facts and making decisions in the best long-term interests of the community.

“Your voice. Our community. Our future.”
